PRINCIPLES OF PILATES

The Classical Pilates Method works toward the development of a strong core, using controlled movement through a range of apparatuses. Implementing Classical Pilates into everyday activity provides a life changing experience, both mentally and physically, no matter the length of time you train.

BREATH

All exercises are done with the rhythm of breath. This sends fresh oxygen to the muscles, and continuous full range of motion.

CENTER

Classical Pilates uses the center of the body, or the "Powerhouse".  All movement is supported by the center.

CONCENTRATION
